Trading operations
Through our crude oil, metals, minerals and shipping partners, we’ve built a global trading operation by connecting sellers and buyers across multiple continents. We do that by balancing supply and demand, optimising supply chains and configuring our business around their needs.
In an increasingly competitive marketplace, being ready to respond swiftly to shifting patterns of demand is a key differentiator. We ensure we have the resources and agility to build long-term value with our customers in fast-changing markets.
Oil and petroleum products
We trade crude oil and petroleum products arround the world. Our expertise is fostered by extensive logistical and partnership capabilities around the world. We buy and sell barrels and move them highly efficiently. We are continually improving logistics, service and performance. Our partners are utilities, refiners, oil majors and national oil companies.
Metals and minerals
AMGON CAPITAL builds global connectivity between oftakers and miners, smelters and refined metal fabricators. We form strategic alliances, undertake offtake agreements, explore structured financing and tolling models and develop downstream outlets that underpin volume growth.
Crude oil is a natural fossil fuel which, once refined, is used to create most of the energy sources used industrially and domestically, from gasoline and diesel to power vehicles, to jet fuel for aircraft and fuel for ships.
AMGON Capital Oy is expanding its global presence for crude oil sellers, trading barrels of crude and condensate (light oil) on daily basis. Additionally, the group trades third-party crude oil.
AMGON Capital Oy has built up a system for global oil trading from our office in Finland. We believe in the quality distribution and functioning of crude oil in an appropriate quality. This is the reason, we are so focused on the accurate measure of supply, so that, the traders may neither get it, in abundance nor the area may get shortage of it. We follow the proper channel and the procedure of every deal while supplying or trading the crude oil.
In the crude oil market, we use our global presence, long term relations in the market knowledge and logistics capabilities to balance supply and demand, optimize supply chains and service the needs of our customers around the world.
We operate primarily as physical traders. We source oil from a variety of counterparties including public production companies, oil majors and national oil companies. AMGON Capital Oy’s crude/light oil crude team has built strong capabilities. Combining this with our deep understanding of physical flows, allows us to identify complex technical issues and respond quickly to changing market dynamics for non-standard crude oil opportunities. We are used to delivering millions of barrels of crude/crude light oil every month and our goal is always multi year long contract and a long term not only a business relationship but also a friendship.
